NGSLT activities concluded

NGSLT has now concluded its activities. We thank all participants for their contributions and hope for future collaboration within NEALT. All NGSLT-mailing lists will remain active untill aproximately summer 2010.
Financial support for papers and posters at NODALIDA 2009
2009-02-24
NGSLT students presenting papers and posters at the 17th Nordic Conference on Computational Linguistics, which will be held at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark, May 14-16, 2009, may apply for funding. Please fill in the Other Activity Form specifying the title of the accepted paper/poster and the expenses needed.
Summer School on GF Resource Grammars in Gothenburgh

The department of Computer science at Gothenburgh University will be organizing a summer school on Grammatical Framework Resource Grammars. You find more information about how this summer school will be organized and what pre-work is required under Activities. NGSLT-students attending the Summer School may aply on the Other Activity Form for reimbursement, specifying the travel and stay expenses, since there will be no lectures, only work on distance during the spring.
Course on Corpus annotation in Riga

There will be a short course taking place in March 2009 in Riga, Latvia on Corpus Annotation: Sentence and Discourse. You find more information about the course under Activities. The deadline for Application is 4th February 2009.

PhD course in Copenhagen

SIABO PhD School in Copenhagen, Denmark is organizing a PhD course on "Ontology & Lexicon – Theory & Applications" (see here for more information). NGSLT-students accepted for this course will get travel and stay during this course reimbursed. Please apply as Other Acivity.
NGSLT course now available for application

Yet another course will be organised this autumn on Automatic Speech Recognition - Advanced Topics in October and November 2008 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. The course is now open for application. For more information see under Activities.
SLTC 2008

The second Swedish Language Technology Conference (SLTC-08) will be held in Stockholm, November 20-21, 2008, organized by the Human Language Technology Center at KTH and Uppsala University, with support from the Swedish National Graduate School of Language Technology (GSLT).
